Danz Kraze!

Kristen Hartzel

Kristen has 20 years of dance experience, including ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance. She was a four-year member of the Eau Claire North Dance Team (two-time state champion) and a one-year member of the Dance Team at UW-Stevens Point. Kristen coached the Junior Varsity Dance at Eau Claire North for three years. She works at Visit Eau Claire. This is her sixth year coaching Danz Kraze. Kristen coaches Middle Competition, Chippewa Teams, and on Thursdays.

Sara Moore

Sara was a member of the North High School dance team for four years and a team captain her senior year. She helped choreograph various routines during high school. Sara was named to the All-Conference Second Team during both her junior and senior years. She currently coaches the EC North JV Team and attends UW-Eau Claire where she is majoring in Elementary Education. This is her third year with Danz Kraze. Sara coaches the Youth Pink Competition Team and on Wednesdays.

Katie Micek

Katie has been dancing for 14 years, including competing at the Dance Academy in Eden Prairie. She has experience in ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, musical theater, lyrical, and jazz. Currently Katie is a junior at UWEC as a Social Work major. She also was a member of the UWEC Dance Team for two years. Katie teaches all jazz classes.

Aleshia Martell

Aleshia has been dancing since she was four years old. She was a member of the North Dance Team for four years and a team captain and choreographer two years. Aleshia was named to the Big Rivers All Conference Team for three years. This is her second full year with Danz Kraze in addition to several short sessions. Aleshia is a student at UWEC. Aleshia coaches the Youth White Competition Team, Juniors, and on Tuesdays.

Wendy Sue Johnson

Wendy Sue has over twenty years of Pom/dance experience, including 17 years coaching high school teams. E. C. North won three State Championships in Funk during that time. Her active involvement in the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches included Western Regional Competition Site Director, Vice-President and President. As Dance Judge Coordinator, she created and taught the Judge Training for WACPC. Wendy has a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from UWEC and taught high school for nearly ten years. She is an attorney at Herrick & Hart S.C. in Eau Claire. She is the proud mother of a North dancer. Wendy Sue is the director of Danz Kraze.
